The Danish Cultural Institute, ICON× and Good People ApS are opening applications for an online photography school running from mid-September to the end of November 2026. Two practitioners from each of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will work with Danish portrait photographer Martin Thaulow, culminating in a collective publication exploring space and place across the region.
The Danish Cultural Institute and ICON× invite you to the official launch of Displaced Culture(s): Migration, Displacement, and the Shifting Cultural Landscape(s) of the Eastern Neighbourhood Countries — a publication exploring how recent waves of migration, forced displacement, and political transformation have reshaped cultural ecosystems across Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
Developed by ICON× in collaboration with the Danish Cultural Institute, the book brings together interdisciplinary perspectives from researchers and cultural practitioners working across the region.
